Guitarist TV

There is now a channel for guitarists: Guitarist TV. If you are a guitarist, you’ll love it. You can watch online, on TV or on your i-phone or other mobile device.

Guitarist TV was founded by professional South African guitarist Mike de Jager and originally launched as an online video channel in 2006 by guitar legend Joe Satriani.

GDBTV co-founder and COO David Wray took a personal interest in Guitarist TV and launched the channel in it’s present format .

United Breaks Guitars Song 2

United Breaks Guitars Song 2 video has been released by Dave Carroll and the Sons of Maxwell.

Of course, this is a follow-up to the original United Breaks Guitars music video. You should probably watch the first video first in order to get the context. While not as hilarious as the original video, in my opinion, it still works. They went all out on this one. A huge production, relatively speaking.

Bill Wyman, the former bass player for the Rolling Stones has slammed simulation video games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. He feels that it is leading to more and more people not getting involved with real instruments.

As reported on the NME blog , the criticism comes today (September 8 ) – the eve of the release of ‘The Beatles: Rock Band’ computer game, which allows players to play along with the Liverpool legends’ back catalogue through their consoles.

“It encourages kids not to learn, that’s the trouble,” Wyman told BBC News. “It makes less and less people dedicated to really get down and learn an instrument. I think it’s a pity so I’m not really keen on that kind of stuff.”
