Amazon has being carrying a line of guitars for awhile now, but for the most part the guitars they stocked were low-end models. With the addition of the PRS guitars they are obviously trying to attract a more serious guitarist.  They don't see to carrying the higher end models but the SE line. But, these guitars have received good reviews and seem to be good value for the price ($500 -$700 range)

PRS are beautiful guitars, although like anything, not everyone cares for them. However, Mark Tremonti, Carlos Santana and Derek Trucks can all be wrong.
